Hiring an apprentice who has been made redundant
Have you considered boosting your organisation by filling key skills gaps with experienced apprentices from across Kent and South-East London? From developing creative talent to strengthening practical know-how, apprenticeships are a great way to give your organisation a competitive edge.
Ready to make an immediate impact
The coronavirus pandemic has caused some organisations to make redundancies, leaving experienced, work-ready apprentices without an employer. That’s why the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) has launched the Redundancy Support Service for Apprentices, giving them advice and help finding new opportunities.
For apprentices facing redundancy, working with LAT Apprenticeships, NAS and employers could give them the chance to complete their apprenticeship. This offers loads of great benefits for organisations, such as:
finding the skills needed to boost your organisation
having an apprentice with relevant experience, so you’ll notice a quick return on investment
giving an enthusiastic apprentice who has lost their job a new start
You could also be eligible for incentive payments for hiring a new apprentice (see blog 'Cash incentives for employers to hire new apprentices doubles')
